The most popular programming languages in the world.
Programming languages like Java, C, and C++ remain the most popular programming languages in the world, according to the Tiobe Index for July 2018.
Other popular languages include Python, JavaScript, and PHP, according to the rankings.
Tiobe noted that after debuting in the top 100 index last month, TypeScript has continued to rise in popularity and has now entered the top 50.
Other programming languages like Objective-C has also returned to the top 10 rankings, with other languages such as Lua and F# seeing growth.
The PYPL rankings showed Python at the top of its list, followed by Java and JavaScript.

PYPL – The more a language tutorial is searched, the more popular the language is assumed to be. The raw data comes from Google Trends.
Tiobe – The ratings are based on the number of skilled engineers worldwide, courses, and third-party vendors. Popular search engines are also used to calculate the ratings.
